a) What is its velocity after 9 seconds?

b) How far will it have travelled at this point?

c) What would its average velocity be during this time?

d) How far will it have reached when its velocity is 45m.sec?

Q A motor is used to lift a load with a mass of 35kg a height of 3.7m
a) calculate the work done in lifting the load?
The speed of the load moving is 0.35m.sec.
b) Calculate the power delivered by the motor?

This module will discuss the issue of energy.

Module 22

A pendulum with a mass of 900grammes and a length of 65cm is pulled out at an angle of 38 degrees from the vertical.  This obviously took work to do this and it now has potential energy.

A) Determine the gravitational potential energy in the pendulum?

B) Determine the maximum speed of the pendulum as it passes the vertical when it is released?
